Adequate and affordable Internet is an essential tool for NH businesses, and an important economic development too for our State. We recently completed a comprehensive study of NH's broadband capacity that included specific policy recommendations. Our research gathered information from more than 550 companies, from which we designed and implemented a Web site www.TechnologyNH.com that provides research tools and an interactive broadband directory. In addition, this information formed the basis for the key public policy statements adopted by the Telecommunications Planning and Development Committee and are contained in our comprehensive report and were presented to the Governor and other key state leaders.
